I've been stalking them on ebay for years but can't bring myself to drop $30 plus they seem to go for because (1) for that kind of money there are a lot of other cards I'd rather have, and (2) the rookie parade cards are really ugly.

Your '63 Pepitone is a lot nicer than mine.

http://classonave.blogspot.com/2011/04/joe-pepitone-1963-topps-183.htmlAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6893787306319909907.post-50838905639294625472012-11-28T06:28:34.885-05:002012-11-28T06:28:34.885-05:00Every time I look at Tex I can't help but thin...Every time I look at Tex I can't help but think, "Hey, Fred Gwynne!"
Mark Kazhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06742272751796497047noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6893787306319909907.post-25507156342947789162012-11-28T01:09:49.722-05:002012-11-28T01:09:49.722-05:00Pepitone more handsome than Tex? Makes me wish that the Padres were around in '63, because the "connections" they make for the Friars are pretty strained, usually just a guy with the same position (with a few exceptions).Marcushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10439278650702057885noreply@blogger.com
