A List to End All Lists (and I Made the Cut!)

Well it seems that TJ from the Junior Junkie blog was a busy fella recently, making many a postal worker and blogger alike smile in the process.  Spraying envelopes of cardboard generosity across the map and racking up a USPS tab of Trumpian heights certainly makes TJ a blogging hero in my book.

I'm just humbled to have made such an impressive list!

So let's get to the cards, which included a healthy dosage of some of my player collection favorites.

For starters, there were plenty of Strawberrys spanning his entire career.

Man, how come it took me so long to get a copy of Straw's base card from '85 Topps??

Now we move along to Darryl's L.A. days...

And up the coast to San Fran...

Oh man, I LOVE this wild and crazy Stadium Club "Ring Leader" insert.  Never have I ever seen one of these previously.

And finally back to New York (but to that other team in the City)...

Ooh, fancy!  A Gold Medallion variant from '97 Ultra.  The fact that they use a completely different photo than the regular base card for these "parallel" versions just blows my mind!

Okay, how about some John Oleruds next.

First from his days north of the border...

Onto the Big Apple next...

And then to the great Northwest...

The padded mailer from Nawlins also included some great Mannys...

This is just a small sampling of the good stuff that I got from The Junior Junkie.  It was a most pleasant surprise to receive such a great bounty of cards, and I am truly appreciative.

Thanks again, TJ!
